Sustainable drilling. Lasting impact.

Sustainability

Environmental responsibility isn't an add-on. It's built into how we plan, drill and hand over every job.

01

The ground beneath us. The future ahead.

Drilling plays an important role in the transition towards more sustainable heating, water and infrastructure solutions.

Our geothermal boreholes provide access to the stable thermal energy stored beneath the ground, enabling ground source heat pump systems to provide efficient low-carbon heating and cooling.

Private water boreholes can also reduce reliance on mains water for suitable applications, while professionally designed drilling solutions can help developments make better use of the natural resources beneath their sites.

At Eco Bore Solutions, we believe specialist drilling and modern technology can work together to create practical solutions for a more sustainable future.

02

GROUND WORK, DONE RESPONSIBLY.

Countryside and woodland

Drilling touches the environment. It's our responsibility to leave the ground, the water and the surrounding habitat in better shape than the day we arrived. We do this through better equipment, tighter procedures, and a team that genuinely cares about the work.

Our practices

HOW WE MINIMISE OUR IMPACT.

01

Fuel-Efficient Rigs

Modern Tier 5 engines reduce emissions on every job.

02

Spill Prevention

Drip trays, bunded fuel and site-specific spill kits as standard.

03

Waste Management

Arisings segregated, recycled or responsibly disposed of.

04

Habitat Protection

Ecological walkovers and protected-species checks before we drill.

05

Water Protection

Boreholes grouted and cased to prevent aquifer cross-contamination.

06

Carbon-Conscious Logistics

Route planning and combined loads reduce transport miles.

04

GEOTHERMAL: CLEAN HEAT FROM THE GROUND.

A ground source heat pump moves heat from beneath your site into your building, using electricity only to power the pump. Correctly sized and installed, it delivers 3–4 kWh of heat per kWh of electricity — quiet, reliable, low-carbon.

05

PROUD MEMBER OF THE GSHP ASSOCIATION.

We're an active member of the UK Ground Source Heat Pump Association, contributing to industry best practice and committed to its code of conduct.
